YELLOW, BROWN, OTHER is a 32-page mini zine created by Gabriel-Philip Murjani. It serves as a personal uniform style guide for like-minded artists who share similar aesthetic values. The concept of the project was inspired by artist Andrea Zittel's three-decade-long project, wherein she carefully selects and pre-determines her outfits based on a set of personal criteria.
The book's layout, typography, and creative direction were overseen by Gabriel, as well as the photography and styling of the models. The visual identity of the books coincides with the aesthetic values of Gabriel's uniform guidelines: an emphasis on shape and colors, a return to childlike values, and creative function. Special thanks to David Darts and Noel Yuson for their guidance and help.
