DEETDOE, a LA-based independent film production studio, needed a fresh identity to match their contemporary creative vision. Their original logo was cluttered with multiple colors and felt outdated. 

As an indie studio, they required an unbiased, versatile mark that reflected their independent spirit while maintaining professional credibility in the competitive film production landscape.


Working with founder Noah Solosky and collaborator Maya Anne, we developed a handdrawn yet weighty approach using rounded typography that felt mature yet experimental. 

After sketching multiple concepts, we created a dual system: a full "DEETDOE" wordmark for professional applications and a condensed "DOE" logomark for favicons and social media.
