ANTI 27 CLUB
OSAKA VAGABOND
ANTI 27 CLUB is the second EP release of the guitarist/singer OSAKA VAGABOND released in the summer of 2021.
The EP design aimed to incorporate elements of dreaminess and childlike qualities into a song with a dark subject matter. The 27 Club is an unofficial list of musicians and artists who died at the age of 27, most notably due to tragic means that reflect poor mental health.
ANTI 27 CLUB serves as the antithesis to this destructive ethos, using self-care over sustaining depression, anxiety, as well as addiction.
He composes, arranges, plays most of instruments, programs, produced and engineered by himself. His music interests has wide range from classical composer like Claude Debussy, to New York Punk icons The Ramones.
WISH
ASHIGALL
WISH is the first single release of the Japanese rock band ASHIGALL. This design aimed to imagine contemporary Japan captured through the abrasive style of the song, which utilizes nü-metal and j-metal influences in its style and lyrics.
Gabriel, alongside his brother Gerard-Paul, created a jacket that relies on visual-kei style, a genre of rock using aesthetics of gothic and glam rock costumes.

MODAL SOUL
NUJABES
(REDESIGN)
Inspired by one of the most iconic Lo-fi Hip Hop albums of all time, this album cover reimagines Nujabes' Modal Soul, a masterpiece blending hip-hop, jazz, and rhythm into a uniquely cohesive tracklist.
The redesign focuses on extracting key visual elements from the original album, such as its red-and-blue color scheme, and presenting them in a sleek, modernist style.
The challenge was to preserve the "soul" of the original cover while giving it a contemporary feel. To achieve this, the modular layering of color blocks was designed to emulate the album's musical essence and visual language.
From 1995 to 2010 in Shibuya Tokyo, Japan, Nujabes worked on his music career and in July 1995, he opened the record store "GUINNES S RECORDS" in Udagawa-cho, Shibuya. In March 1999, he opened "Park Avenue Studios" in Jinn, Shibuya, and also founded the independent label "hydeout productions".
After releasing many 12inch singles he released his first album“metaphorical music”(2003) following up with “Modal Soul” (2005) and “Spiritual State” (2011). He also released two collection compilations: “Hydeout Productions 1st Collection” (2003) and “2nd Collection” (2007).
Additionally, Nujabes was chosen for a music director at the Paris Collection of COMME des GAR CONS(2004), produced the soundtrack for Shinichiro Watanabe’s anime series “Samurai Champloo”, appeared in Sonar Sound Tokyo etc.
In 2008, Nujabes released a compilation album ‘Modal Soul Classics By Nujabes’, a collection of music influenced him.
On February 26th 2010, Nujabes died in a car accident.
